Robert L. Lackey

He was born June 18, 1932, in Brady Lake, Ohio, to parents Jack and Althea (Hickey) Lackey. Bob retired from Ravenna City Schools as a custodian after many years of employment.

Bob was quite the character and will fondly be remembered for his sense of humor. He loved traveling throughout the U.S. with his wife, Anna. They especially enjoyed going on cruises. Bob was a good handyman and remodeled many homes. He also loved animals and enjoyed watching the birds.

He is survived by his children: Paulette Lamendola, Bethe (Mike) Kammer, and Robert A. Lackey, as well as all of his loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Anna Lackey, his brother Jack Lackey, twin brother Richard Lackey, and his sister Verna Negro.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with Reverend James Lang officiating the funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
