Robert Eugene Pittman

He was born August 6, 1945, in Spangler, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Albert Lyle and Dora Louise (Nelson) Pittman. Bob was a man of deep faith and a member of Ravenna Assembly of God. He worked for many years as mold division superintendent at Gougler Industries and served his country in the US Army. Mr. Pittman was hardworking and selfless. Bob loved his family, and for the past six months, has been spoiling his great-grandson.

He is survived by his beloved wife JoAnne (Overholt) Pittman, whom he married on June 22, 1967. Bob is also survived by his daughter Trina (Bob) Woodall, grandchildren: Tiffany Thomas, Amber Singer, Heather Singer, and great-grandson Joseph Levi Singer, as well as his brothers: Charles (Dora) Pittman, Lyle (Donna) Pittman, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his niece Brenda Jean (Pittman) Foster.

Cremation has taken place, and friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM memorial service on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the Ravenna Assembly of God, 6401 State Route 14, Ravenna. Pastor Gary Beck will officiate the service with military honors following.
