Bob was born in Akron, Ohio on January 3, 1927 to parents Maynard and Hilda (Larrick) Pugh.
Bob was a World War II Navy veteran, where he served on the USS California. After World War II he remained in the Navy Reserves and retired from the Navy in 1969.
He retired from Goodyear where he was a rubber worker and had been a farmer all of his life as well. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed time spent as a Civil War reenactor.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, from 10am until the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ken Price, beginning at 11am. Private interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
