Robert L. Thompson

Robert L. Thompson, 78, of Ravenna, passed away on November 16, 2021. Robert was born in Micco, West Virginia to parents John and Weltha (Mullins) Thompson. Robert moved to the area in the early 60’s and retired after a long tenure at Evenflo Co. in Ravenna. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda (Hicks) Thompson and daughter Shonnie (John) Colando. He also leaves his grandchildren Adam (Kimberly Baird) McGarr, Aaron McGarr, Brianna Colando and great-grandchildren Lilly McGarr and Willow McGarr. Robert’s brothers Darrell (Connie) Thompson and Earl (Judy) Thompson also survive him along with many loving nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers. Per his wishes cremation has been honored and no services are scheduled.
