Robin I (Thorp) Marie

Robin was born July 15, 1967 in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Robert E. and Carolyn S. (Smith) Thorp. She graduated from Ravenna High School and Maplewood Career Center with a degree in cosmetology. Robin worked at Famous Hair for five years. She loved spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, and long bike rides with her husband John Scott Marie.

She was very bubbly and had an awesome personality but she definitely did things her own way. She tried to help everyone in any way possible and was always good with giving advice in any situation.

Robin is survived by her husband John Scott Marie and her children; Brock (Sierra) Ferrebee, Josh (Dana) Ferrebee, Amber (Josh) Eicher and Scotty (Chelsey) Marie. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Robert, Andrew, Amara, Joshua Jr, Everleigh, Leihetta, Vincent, and Colton. Robin is also survived by her sister Rebecca (Charles), nieces Ashley (Jake) Tracey, Bobbie Paulet, and nephew Dallas Carnes.

Robin was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Sue Thorp, sister Sherry Thorp, daughter Felicia Finley, and mother-in-law Wanda Marie.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. Funeral service, officiated by Pastor John Angle, will begin at 3:00 PM.
