Ronald Zickefoose

Ron was born December 29, 1954 in Akron, Ohio to parents Tuttle and Mavis Zickefoose. Ron worked as a tow motor operator in manufacturing and attended the Ravenna Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and loved to visit “Bubba”, his favorite casino host in Wheeling, West Virginia. Ron was a loving father to his children and step-children, adored his grandchildren and truly loved the McIntyre clan.

Ron is survived by his wife, Jean, his daughter, Nicole Zickefoose and his son, Todd Zickefoose. He is also survived by his step-children: Kim Billings and Michael Ashley. He also leaves his loving grandchildren: Morgan and Sylvia Giaimo, Jessica and James Billings, and Ava Zickefoose.

Surviving also are his brothers: Russell (Allison) Zickefoose, Roger (Faye) Zickefoose, Robert (Linda) Zickefoose and his sister, Lynda (Dave) McIntyre and family. Ron is also survived by his sister-in-laws: Mary (Martin) Clark, Cathy (Ben) Flaherty and Patricia Myers.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, and also referred by Ron as his second set of parents, Carl Hess and Doris Keller.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm where funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00am officiated by Pastor Carl Keller. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
