Roy E. Gray, age 75 of Charlestown, passed away July 6, 2019, at his home.

He was born July 5, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Frank Victor and Violet Edna (Henderson) Gray. Roy worked for the Vale Edge Sparkle Market for 25 years and later retired from Enduro Rubber Company.

Roy enjoyed golfing, fishing, and bowling. He even had a 300 game. Roy was also an avid OSU Football fan and LA Dodgers fan. He was a member of Ravenna Moose 1234 and American Legion 331. Roy is survived by his beloved wife Mary (Jones), whom he married November 5, 1965. Also surviving is his daughter Rebecca (Roger) Caruthers, grandson Kevin (Nalesia) Caruthers, as well as his siblings: twin sister Sharon (Lee) Ice, Ronald (Bea) Gray, Mary (Bud) Lowers, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and his dear dog, Gizmo.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Neil Gray, Nelson Gray, Bob Stidd, Ruth Ann Ice, Jeffery Gray, Jim Gray, John Gray, Patty Gray, and Joyce Gray.

Dear Mary and Family, first remember Him working at the Sparkle Market as that was Us kids go to store We could walk to. Later in life when I moved back years later. He would say Hi after I did and say I know U and I'd say Yes and re introduced myself. Sweet Man He was. So sorry for Your Loss of Roy
