

He was born September 24, 1932, in Industry, West Virginia, to parents Lawrence and Ona (Dawson) Bell. Bud was a former member of Freewill Baptist Church. He retired from the Ravenna Township Service Department and also worked at Darwall and Crest Rubber.
Bud was a kind person who was always willing to help his family, friends, and neighbors. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Often, Bud could be found in front of the TV watching one of his favorite Westerns.
Bud is survived by his beloved wife Cecelia (Nelson) Bell, whom he married 60 years ago on March 2nd. He is also survived by their children: Willie (Sandy) Bell, Cindy Arvoy, Rose Jones, and Gary (Ashley) Bell, daughter-in-law Debbie Bell, son-in-law Fred Boesiger, and his brother Harold (Ruth) Bell. Bud’s memory will also be cherished by his 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, as well as generations of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jimmy Bell, daughter Norma Boesiger, and 12 siblings.
Friends will be received Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., with funeral services officiated by Pastor Tommie Nicholas at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
