Ryan Michael Vrudney, 45, of Deerfield, with his loving family by his side, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Ryan was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on February 5, 1973. Ryan worked hard to make his dreams come true. He served his country in the Marine Corp from 1991-1997. Being the enterprising spirit that he was, he started his own construction firm. At this time he met the love of his life, Jaime and started a family. Ryan became a truck driver at Conway Freight in 2005 and worked until 2013 when was no longer able to work. While working he found time to build a house and raise his children. A man of boundless energy and drive, he did not give up until the end. The world has become a little sadder place by his passing. Ryan is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jaime (Evans) Vrudney and children: Brycen Sveda, Jaeden Vrudney, Nichole Vrudney, Payten Vrudney and Isaac Vrudney. Left also to cherish his spirit are parents Kitty & Bob Rakosi and Don & Nancy Vrudney, his sister Tanya Rainey and family, brothers: Brad Vrudney and family, Dr. Bob Rakoski, many loving cousins, especially his fave “Cuz” Tracy Young, his aunts & uncles, nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Edinburg United Church, 4081 Rockspring Rd., Edinburg, from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Timothy Paroz, will begin at 1:00pm with full military honors following. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ryan and Jaime’s home, 9054 Yale Rd., Deerfield, on Friday, June 22 at 6:00pm where all friends and family are welcome. I remember the first time I met Ryan. It was the Akron zoo. He was pulling a wagon with his little kids in it. We were huffing and puffing trying to make it up the hill an Ryan laughed saying he had no problem getting up the hill with the kids in tow. I remember thinking how hot and miserable I was and how strong he was. That is the Ryan I will remember...strong, confident and smiling.

I went to school with Ryan at a very young age. I would stay the night and Ryan, myself, and Brad would have fun doing kids stuff. He was a kind soul. My deepest condolences to his family.
