Mom,

It was your birthday a couple days ago and it was the hardest day I've had since you passed. I Love and miss you so very much. I cant go a day without looking at your picture. I wish you were still here,I'd give anything to hug and kiss you one more time.The only comfort I get is knowing that your not in pain and one day I will see you again and be lying beside you. I LOVE YOU.

Hi Sheila,
 Happy Birthday!!! Today will be so pretty and nice. I truely can't describe how badly I am missing you.   Today I am sure we would be sharing one of John's wonderful perfect cakes. 
 I remember last year you were in the hospital. Bilel and I came to visit you. The first thing you did was offer your birthday cake. You made sure to have Chuck wrap us up some cake to take home and share. 
 Sheila you are an amazing person! I think about you all the time wishing I still had you to talk too. 
 I have learned so much from you. Alot of times I will be in the car and songs we use to sing too come on. It always takes me back to those times in my life. When u took me in and gave me a comfortable place to live and taught me so many things.
I Remember when you traveled around the US, back when I was a kid. I was so excited when you came. I remember you never came to visit us empty handed. You always had something for Jodi and I. This was you Sheila so loving, understanding, and giving. 
 I hear alot of times in my head your voice. How you would say when I would come to visit. "Hello little girl want somthing to drink?" (with a smile on your face) I remember when you taught me how to drive.
 Times seem rough for me right now and you were the one I would go too. You would listen so carefully and give me such good advice. I need you Sheila and I miss you every single day. Nobody knew what kind of relationship you and I had. You were always like a mother to me. This was the hardest loss I ever had to go through. 
 I am celebrating your Birthday with you today. I will keep my smile and remember our good times. It will be a wonderful day because I know your with me. I Love You so much Sheila and will see you again one day.

 I have been thinking a lot of you since April and even more with your Birthday being a day away. I went to buy a card for you & realized you read it with me you will never be a day older, you will always have that spunk in you and that wise mouth that you passed down to me.I know we will be toghter again but I so much want to give you a hug & thank you for all the sacrifices you made to make sure Jim & I had more opportunities in life then you did.When I went into the Medical feild you pushed me to keep going,I owe you so much and you truely did make sure I had an easier path then you & thats every parents dream.I hope that when you needed me I did enough and I also hope you know that I would not be the person I today without your Love & support.    my dear sweet sister , ty so much for the humming bird u sent yesterday , i havent seen one out here before , and i have never seen one that color blue . i knew it was you when it appeared right in front of my eyes and stayed for a few moments . it did comfort me to know you were here with me and soon after the tears stopped , i made some fried potatoes and beans and was feeling a lot better before bed . today i woke up feeling like i had the strenght to go on for a while longer . i am smiling thinking of you today knowing you will be with me when i need you ,and i sure needed u yesterday .

  i miss you so much , i dont know how i will live without you . i rarely smile any more , my life is so empty now . you were one of the most important people in my life . i try to go on for all the kids yours and mine but it is so hard . there are times i feel good and i know it is by gods hands . but then at times like this i just miss you so bad i cant stand it . 
      i wish we could have one more talk , that i could see you one more time . i wasnt ready for this , as many times as i seen you down and you came back , i thought god could see we didnt want you to go and i prayed for him to heal you . this has changed me , i dont feel as strong anymore , you use to tell me all the time how strong i am . i am not strong now , i need you to tell me , i needed you to be strong . without you in my life i feel useless , no one cares for me like you did . no one is there for me like you were . so many times in my life i ran to you and you welcomed me with open arms . you gave me a place to stay , fed me comforted me ,then gave me the strenght to carry on .

  I think of you EVERY day. My heart hurts so bad I just want your head on my shoulder and you holding my hand the way you used to. With your Birthday coming up its going to be even harder. my loving sister i miss u so much , ur always in my mind . we were together last 4th of july u said it would be the last one but i prayed we would have many more . it isnt the same w/out u i want to call u and talk about our soaps , todays show it went through me to call u to see what u thought about it .

Wow, its been 2 weeks but it still feels like it was yesterday. I miss you so much, Im so glad that you and I had our special talks, and I will forever treasure them. I feel so honored that I was able to have you in my life, and that you thought of me as one of your own. I know that your in a place now where you are healthy, forever young, and with people who have gone home before you. This was read to Sheila by Wayne and John before her death, she had asked Wayne if he would read it at her funeral as an open letter to her Family and Friends. She also asked Wayne to tell her Grandchildren, Brad, Jimmy, Stephen, and Amanda, that she was very proud of them. To Sheila, her family meant the world no matter what was going on in their personal lives, she loved them all equally and they where never far from her heart. Wayne was able to read this letter to everyone at the funeral, with grace and dignity and was also able to tell her grandkids of her love and devotion to them.
                         
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Our Hearts are filled with so much sadness without you here, but we know that your long journey home is now complete. You are now with our Lord, Grandpa and GrandmaTaylor, Judy, and so many others that have gone home before you. We will miss you so much, and we are so glad that we had that last visit with you on Wednesday. We had so many close calls in the past, but this time Jesus new it was time to bring you home.
