Shirley was born in Davis, W.Va. to parents Ralph and Edith Landis. Shirley was a member of the Deerfield Evangelical Friends Church. She liked to raise flowers on her property, especially morning glories. Her life was filled with love for her dogs and cats that she enjoyed.
Surviving Shirley is her son Dennis Ward and her daughter, Pat (Pete) Walker. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Columbus and her two sisters.
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will occur at a later date. Arrangements handled by the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
