Terrie Lynn Smith

Beloved wife of 39 years to Roger D. Smith; dear mother of Jeremiah (Melissa) Smith and Tia (Jeremy) Watson; wonderful grandma to grandchildren: Hannah Smith, Hailey Smith and Ethan Watson; devoted daughter of Harold Haney (deceased) and Marian Haney; loving sister of three; Gary Haney, Peggy Haney and Pamela Haney, cherished Aunt and cousin to many.

Terrie enjoyed years of driving bus for the Rootstown Local School District, bowling and playing softball. Also, she enjoyed a variety activities such as sewing, crafts, making scarves, watching her granddaughters play softball, camping, crocheting and above all spending time with family.

Our family would like to extend many thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Jean-Milton Cooper Cancer Center infusion center and Oncology department. Also, our family would like to extend many thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses from the Akron City Hospital Critical Care Unit T3 who cared for Terrie through her final moments before entering the heavens as an Angel.

Friends will be received to Celebrate Terrie’s life at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM.
