I was a student who was fortunate to have Mrs. Mills as a teacher.
Even though this was many years ago, I still remember what a quality teacher Mrs. Mills was.
I just want to thank Mrs. Mills for her dedicated service to the children of Ravenna.
I would like to let her children and grand children know that their mom and grandma cared about her students and taught us well.
Thank you Mrs. Mills.

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus just to take Him at His word I can say without a doubt this was her life creed I always called her Mrs Mills out of respect and admiration She is at peace She struggled over a hundred years to be back in the presence of GOD and she has now made that transition As it takes the struggle in the cocoon for its wings to get strong enough to fly the butterfly has emerged and flown away on the wings of the morning She is now done with the trouble of this world and has gone on home to be with the Lord ! I pass GOD'S peace to all of you and pray that HE continue to rain down blessings upon you May GOD soothe hurting hearts and in time restore the smiles to your faces as well as your hearts

It saddens me to hear of Virginias passing. I truly enjoyed caring for her at Vista Veranda. We shared many memories and had lovely conversations . She always commented how she loved hearing me humming a tune while I was helping her. She will be deeply missed. My most sincere condolences to her family.
With Love ❤ Kathy

I remember Mrs. Mills from Junior High. I had her for French and for English
I also grew up in the Fairgrounds, so I would see her out and about. I was a member of the Methodist Curch as well and remember her singing in the choir. She was tough as a teacher but I learned so much from her. RIP Mrs. Mills! Au revoir!

Virginia Mills was my neighbor, teacher, newspaper customer, fellow Methodist and lifelong inspiration and encourager. My 100 year old mother, Martha, and I visited with her during the past year and found her mind and spirit as sharp as ever. Mrs. Mills was a Ravenna treasure and will be missed. Her legacy will continue on in those of us who shared in and benefited from her presence in our lives.
