William Emmett "Bill" Maynard

He was born March 5, 1948, in Ravenna, Ohio, a son of the late Roger and Fran (Hill) Maynard. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 – 1970. He retired from Stouffers in 2003, after 28 years of employment as a maintenance supervisor. Bill was an avid golfer and could often be found in his workshop making furniture, as well as stained glass artwork for family and friends.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Donna (DeWitt) Maynard, son Shawn and his wife Shannon Maynard of Parma, daughter Shannon and her husband Chuck Sayre of Mantua, granddaughters Olivia, Ella, and Emma, and brother Robert and his wife Pamela Maynard of Mantua. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother Bruce and his sister Carol Heilman.

Cremation has taken place, and friends will be received Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, OH 44266.
