

He was born February 21, 1936, in Elm Grove, West Virginia, to parents Robert and Mary (Kasman) Schrock. Bill proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Army. He was a truck driver, working for Landmark in Adena, and then driving his own truck until retirement. Bill went by the CB handle “Oil Man.”
Bill was an avid gardener and enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in his yard. He also liked to travel with his wife, Barb. Their favorite place to visit was Sugarcreek. Lately, Bill spent a lot of time watching TV and old movies.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Zifzal) Schrock, his sister Mitzi Wojcik of Wheeling, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jack, Bobby, and Edwin Schrock, and his sister Mary Catherine Yopa.
Family and close friends will be received Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Reverend William Cross at 12:00 PM at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 60 S Bridge St., Adena, OH 43901. Interment will follow with military honors at Holly Memorial Gardens.
