William R. Strausser

He was born on June 12, 1942 to Elizabeth (Stueve) and Wendell Strausser. Bill is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Marlene, his sister Ruth Ann Lawrence, aunt Ruth Peppeard, son Jack Herman and daughter Shannon Saxon. He was blessed and happy with his many grandchildren Justin, Michael, Jalen, Sydney, Rachael, Sophia, and Gianna.

His warmth and compassion were greatly emphasized by his commitment to First Christian Church of Ravenna where he was a long standing member. Bill was also an active member of the Masonic Temple Unity Lodge #12 of Ravenna. His laughter, warmth and witty sense of humor will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received Monday, March 15, 2010, from 4-6 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Masonic services will begin at 6:00 PM on Monday, followed by a Celebration of Life Service officiated by Reverend Dr. Perry Mattern.
