Yolanda M. Anderson

She was born June 2, 1929, in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, to parents Guiseppe and Benilda (DeLibero) Pantalone. Yolanda was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Parish. She retired from the liquor store in Ravenna after working there for 22 years. “Yo” enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family gatherings. She also enjoyed bowling, bingo, and spending time with her cats Butters and Blue.

Yolanda is survived by her children: Scott (Debbie) Anderson of Ravenna and Maureen (Garth Smicklevich) Anderson of Stow, grandchildren: Taylor, Megan, and Chelsey Anderson. Her memory will also be cherished by her siblings Pauline Bertino of Ravenna and Alfonse Pantalone of Ravenna, as well as many generations of nieces and nephews.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard Anderson, and her siblings: Luigina Bretti, Iris Brown, Mary Vozar, and Adele Pantalone.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend William Kraynak on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. Private interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery.
