Dan Hall Hodge Sr.

Dan Hall Hodge, Sr., 72, passed away August 6, 2012. He was born November 11, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Lucile Hodge of Bolton; brothers, Jack Hodge and Mack Hodge, Jr.; sisters, Mary Mize, Irene Seal and Thelma Wade. He is survived by brothers, Pat Hodge and Arthur Hodge; sisters, Marie Canton, Mildred Parker, Willie Frank Vaughn and Martha Ann Dalton.

He was a devoted husband of 52 years to Bessie Jo Hodge. He was a dedicated father to Dan Hodge Jr., of Raymond and David Hodge of Arkansas, Kathy Chavez of Clinton and Leticia Greene of Arkansas and their spouses. Also left to cherish his memory are 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He left with his family and friends many precious memories. The example he gave of his life was one of faith, strength, and thoughtfulness. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday August 8, 2012 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday August 9, 2012 preceded by visitation at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Utica Cemetery.
