Alyce Marie Baumel

Alyce Baumel (nee Mercer), 85 passed away on October 12, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Baumel. Loving mother of Jeff Baumel. Dear sister of Ralph Mercer and Patricia Schroeder (nee Mercer), and the late Jean Mercer, Thomas Mercer, and Sandra Mercer. Loving grandmother of Julia (David) Dean (nee Baumel) and adoring great grandmother of Paul Michael and Evan Thomas Dean. Alyce loved life and was always ready for a new adventure. She was a friend to all she met and caregiver for many friends and family in need throughout her life. She gave herself selflessly to all who needed a helping hand leaving a legacy of service to all she touched. A nature lover, spending time at the Cincinnati Zoo was a favorite pastime. The great joy in her life the past two years were her great grandsons Paul and Evan. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Tuesday, October 21, at the Tri-County Baptist Church 8195 Beckett Rd, West Chester OH 45069.
