When we were younger Uncle Dee would call on ocassion to speak with mom to catch up. If my sister Kathy or I would answer the home phone, he would say, 'this is your boyfriend'. :) We would get to talk to him for a minute or so and laugh with him before handing phone over to mom. He was always so pleasant and easy going. We enjoyed hearing about his hunting stories with our Uncle Jerry too.

I remember when I was little we always went to Uncle Dee's and Aunt Cricket. He would give us money to go to the store at the bottom of the hill. He always had a smile that would light up the room. He would let us help him feed his dogs outside. Laugh at our dumb jokes. He always was fun to be around. He will be greatly missed. Uncle Dee thanks for always making me feel important.
