I did not know Harlan, but Arlene is my neighbor and a very caring person, as I'm sure her brother was. Please know that I'm thinking of all of you.

I always respected your intelligence, and sense of humor. Even though we weren't technically family anymore, I still considered you Uncle Hoot.

Hoot is truly missed by his many friends from over the years. Hoot was a great friend, keeping alive a friendship started as a co-worker at Milacron. He was also a fellow ham radio operator.
