Ralph “Biff” NIEHAUS, age 94. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude “Trudie” (Nee Schenk). Loving father of Suzanne (Jerry) Fry, Terri (John) Thumann, Mary Jo (Jerry) Vanden Eynden, Gretchen (Steve) Schauff, John, Steve, Lisa (Gregg) Hagen and Timothy. Grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 14. Dear brother of the following deceased: Vera Peters, Paul, Elbert, and Cathy Schatzel. Retired from GE Evendale. WWII Marine corp veteran and awardee of both the Navy Cross and the Purple Heart; Hall of Fame inductee of Roger Bacon HS and University of Dayton as well as being a member of the NFL’s 1939 Cleveland Rams. Lifelong faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a lover of fishing, hunting and golfing. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Saturday, Dec. 4 at 11 AM at Our Lady of The Sacred Heart, 162 Siebenthaler Ave., Reading Ohio. Friends may visit from 9 AM until the start of Mass .
