Alfredo was a construction worker and painter, who owned his own business for over 30 years. He could build anything with his bare hand, including a house from the ground up. Alfredo will also be remembered as a skilled mechanic who loved working on old cars and getting them back up and running on the road again.He also had a passion for baking sweets for those he loved and cared about. In addition, Alfredo also served as a pastor at Iglesia De Jesucristo El Buen Samaritano, Reading, where he served for over 20 years.
In addition to his mother, his beloved wife of 60 years Blanca Iris (Gordian) Rivera greeted Alfredo in Heaven. His spirit will be carried on by his three daughters: Jeanette Ortiz, of Reading, Judith Rivera, of Scranton and Jenny Luna, of Allentown. Alfredo also leaves 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchild and several brothers & sisters to cherish his memory.
Funeral services for Alfredo will be private and at his family’s discretion. Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading is honored to serve Alfredo and his loving family at this difficult time.
