Allan James Hughes Sr.

Allan was born in Reading on December 31, 1949 , a son of Geraldine (Heffner) Hughes and the late James J. Hughes, Jr. Allan was employed by Berks Products in maintenance for 31 years and then Rahn Construction in maintenance. He was the handy man around the house, "Jack of all trades". He loved traveling with his wife who together experienced 10 cruises and beach vacations to Myrtle Beach where he would ride his Harley trike.

Also surviving is his daughter, Billy L. Weston and her husband George Weston III, brother, Thomas and his wife Barbara Hughes, 5 grandchildren; Cody Hughes, Miranda and her husband Antonio Mazza, Dara and her husband Anthony Knight, Abbie Hughes and Carly and her husband Francesco Caruso, and 6 great grandchildren.

Allan was predeceased by his son, Allan J. Hughes, Jr. in 2018 and his brother, Stephen Hughes.
