

She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Schmeer and her children Jeremy Lewis, Vincent Lewis, Shawn Schmeer, Joey Noll and Brittany Watts. She is predeceased in death by her son Richard C. Schmeer Jr.
Raising six children of her own, being a foster parent, in addition to a life long profession in childcare; it’s easy to say children were her life, her passion, and her greatest achievement. “Grandmothers pride” is an understatement when it came to her 14 grandchildren. Grammy was easily her absolute favorite title. Tyler, Joliyah, Jaiden, Alexander, Jamie, Alaya, Brooklynn, Calem, Carter, Chase, Max, Daniel, Cali and Gyanah will carry her rebellious spirit and unwavering love forward.
Almira was loved immeasurably by her family. Her mother Janice, wife of Paul, served her daily as a support system of strength and guidance. Her dad Lester Lawson saw her, guided her, and loved her unconditionally. Her sisters Debbie and Tina in addition to their children Jeni, Madison and Jared filled her life with light notably inheriting her witchy spirit and clairvoyant senses.
A lifetime of love and devotion mark her marriage to her husband, Richard of over 40 years.
To know her, was to love her. She did the best she could with what she had and it certainly showed in her perseverance. May her legacy serve as a testament to the strength of the human spirit. May it be one of laughter, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family. Let her determination to save the world be imprinted on everything she touched. As we say goodbye earthside, may her spirit remain as a guiding light echoing in the hearts of those she’s loved.
