Alphonso was an avid sports fan especially the Philadelphia teams, Eagles, Phillies and Flyers. He loved to shoot basketball hoops and he never missed. He enjoyed coloring, writing, painting, buying pens, paper and craft items. Alphonso loved going for rides and turning up the radio to sing. His favorite music was listening to the oldies 80's music and was a fan of the Beatles. Alphonso appreciated the the holidays, especially decorating the house for Christmas and Halloween. He always dressed up for Halloween and loved getting presents. His favorite foods were hoagies, McDonald's and Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Surviving are his siblings: Thomas Imperial and Joseph Imperial, Jr.
He was predeceased by his brother Charles Imperial.
A viewing will be Friday October 2, 2026 12-1PM in Auman's Inc Funeral Home 391 W Neversink Rd Reading PA 19606 with a service to begin at 1PM. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
