Ann Rose Miller

Born in Chester, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Annuziatina "Nancy" (Libra) Mirabile.

Ann had retired after 26 years at Lucent Technology (formerly AT&T), and before that worked at Willson Products.

She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

In later years, she enjoyed playing BINGO and was a regular at the Laureldale Athletic Club and 18th Ward Democratic Club.

She enjoyed playing games of all kinds and regularly supported the Pennsylvania Lottery and visits to the Casinos.

She is survived by her five children: Nancy Lampros, Anita Melnick, Anthony Miller, John Miller and Rosemarie Hunter. Ann is also survived by her sister, Asunda Bender. There are five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Theodore "Teddy" Miller; her sisters: Mary G. Sanchez, Carmella Vergot, Sylvia A. Beiber, Jane Ehrig, Rose Jared; and her brothers, Fredrick Mirabile and Anthony Mirabile.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 740 Cherry St., West Reading. Burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be Tuesday, August 18, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. in Theo C, Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 4 Park Plaza, Wyomissing, PA 19610 in her memory.
