Anna Marie L. (Styer) Stoner, 88, of Reading, formerly of Shoemakersville, passed away peacefully at 11:30pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019 in the Berkshire Center. She was the loving wife of the late Charles H. Stoner. The couple wed in Reading on April 14, 1956 and shared 50 years of marriage.
Born in Reading on August 30, 1930, Anna Marie was a daughter of the late Adolph and Angela (Curry) Styer. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Shoemakersville.
Anna Marie took pleasure in floral design and painting in various mediums. She was very active with the former Horizon Center with Berks Encore and the Shoemakersville Area Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling with the Fun Makers, a group of close knit friends who enjoyed entertaining.
Surviving are her son, Todd C. Stoner and his wife, Betty M. of Exeter Twp.; a daughter, Holly A. (Stoner) Souders and her husband, David E. of The Villages, FL; two grandchildren, Heather M. Kasprzewski of Wyomissing and Derrick J. Kasprzewski and his wife, Sara M. of Bernville; two great grandchildren, Mia and Milo Kasprzewski at home in Bernville and a brother, Andre Styer of Concord, NC.
In addition to her husband, Charles and her parents, Anna Marie is predeceased by a sister, Angela (Styer) Dell and three brothers, Dr. Adolph, Styer, Jr, Albert Styer and Arthur Styer.
Services for Anna Marie will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 12pm in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., PA 19606. A viewing will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 10am to 12pm. Anna Marie will be laid to rest beside Charles in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
