Arthur Frederick Wolff Sr.

Arthur Frederick Wolff, Sr., 86 of Reading, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014 in ManorCare Health Services-Laureldale . He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Carroll) Wolff. The couple married on June 3, 1950; sadly, Evelyn passed away on December 4, 2004 after 54 years of marriage.

Arthur was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 11, 1928; he was the only child of the late Otto and Adeline (Grumpkin) Wolff. He was a graduate of the Pratt Institute of Brooklyn New York with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Later, he was employed with American Paper and Plastic as the Plant Manager for 40 years before retiring in 1990.

Arthur was an avid reader and enjoyed reading about current events. He quickly excelled in mastering navigation on the Internet and liked Google Maps.

Surviving are two sons: Arthur F. Wolff, Jr. of Rochester, NY and Thomas Wolff and his wife, Carol of Hilton Head Island, SC; a daughter, Ruthann Pennypacker of Reading; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services for Arthur are private. Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading is entrusted with the arrangements.
