Barbara Ann Dobraniecki, 81, formerly of Exeter Township, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Born in West Reading, PA on June 15, 1942 she was a daughter to the late Stephen and Sophia (Binasiewicz) Luksie.
Barbara was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School and attended The Wharton School of Business. She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Parish and of Woman's Club of Exeter Township for many years.
Barbara dedicated much of her working life as a secretary for various companies, including but not limited to: Agere Systems, Inc., and the Berks County Dental Society.
Barbara's life was defined by the love she shared with her family, particularly her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. She was a woman of remarkable wit, who possessed a dry sense of humor that was as sharp as it was endearing. Yet, beneath her playful banter lay a heart of gold—a heart that overflowed with kindness and compassion for all who crossed her path.
Barbara leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
Barbara's spirit will be carried on by her son Michael Dobraniecki and his wife Rochel, of Exeter Township. and her daughter Andrea DeCola and her husband Gary, of Lower Alsace Township. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren Riley, Alex and Ian to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was greeted in heaven by her brother Stephen E. Luksie.
A mass of christian burial for Barbara will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11:15 AM at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Reading, PA 19605,officiated by Fr. Brian Miller, followed by an entombment.
