Barbara Ann (Matuszak) Glembocki, 88, entered eternal rest on March 20, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Reading, PA, on April 1, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Edward A. Matuszak Sr. and Victoria M. (Palkon) Matuszak.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is now reunited with those who went before her, including her brother, Gerald Matuszak; her first husband, Patrick J. Tolland; and her second husband, Norman Glembocki.
A graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1955, Barbara went on to take courses in computer programming before dedicating more than 24 years as an executive administrative assistant with Gilbert Associates, building a career she took pride in.
Barbara never passed up a good shopping trip, especially to Boscov’s or Dollar Tree, often picking up little things for others before herself. Rooted in her Polish heritage, she had a lifelong love of music, with a special place in her heart for polka, though she enjoyed all genres. Year after year, she looked forward to Jazz Fest, enjoying the music and energy that made the experience so special to her.
She treasured time spent with family, whether it was going out to lunch, traveling, or making memories on seaside vacations to Cape May and Wildwood, cherishing the simple moments that brought them all closer together.
Barbara had a soft spot for both children and animals, always offering her love and care without hesitation. Her presence blended gentle warmth with a quiet strength, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Barbara's spirit will be carried on by her daughter, Jodie A. Morgan; her sons, Robert E. Williamson and his wife Nancy, and Thomas R. Williamson and his wife Wendy; her brothers, Jan E. Matuszak and his wife Judy, and Edward A. Matuszak Jr.; her grandchildren, Colby Williamson, Sara Williamson, and Ava Williamson; her nephew, Alexander D. Matuszak and his wife Bianca; and her beloved fur baby, Cody.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Followed by a Celebration of Life Service commencing at 12:00 pm.
