Barbara Lynne Rotz

Barbara was born in Reading on September 27, 1943 a daughter of the late Norman and Miriam E. (Heister) Dorward. In Barbara's spare time, she enjoyed bird watching and taking photos of life's beauty. She won multiple ribbons at the Reading Fair for her flair in knitting socks and was also an avid quilter. Barbara loved to go camping and be with friends and family.

Surviving are her 2 children, Michele L. and her husband Douglas Schaeffer, Michael L. and his wife Stephanie Rotz, brother, Norman C. and his wife Debra Dorward, sister Judith A. and her husband Robert Stump. Also surviving are her 7 grandchildren, Brittany Koenig, Caitlin Armao, Meagan Scott, Nathan Schaeffer, Trisha Musser, Alexis Coleman and Seth Schaeffer, 12 great grandchildren, Luna, Harper, Gianni, Mackenzie, Natalie, Alivia, Leandra, Nathan Jr, Havanna, Lewis, Violette, Callie and one on the way and great great granddaughter, Emerleigh and one on the way.

A Graveside Service for Barbara will be Wednesday, June 25, 2025 2 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606. Anyone attending the graveside, please meet at the entrance of the cemetery. Auman's Inc Funeral Home, is honored to be serving the family.
