Betty Ruth Lyles

Betty was born in Ellisville, MS on March 10, 1935 a daughter of the late George W Sr and Nettie (Douglas) Harrison.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church of God and was employed by Berks Heim as a CNA for 28 years retiring in 2000.

Betty enjoyed to work on word search puzzles.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Jessica M Dawson of Reading, and her sister, Marvis J widow of Franklin Leaf of Reading. Betty was predeceased by her son Terrence S Dawson in 2012 and by her siblings, Freddie Lee Harrison, George W Harrison, Jr, Flora M Simpson, Douglas Harrison, Helen C Walker, and Leonard Harrison.

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Services will be Saturday November 21, 2015 at 1pm in Holy Trinity Church of God, 130 W Buttonwood St., Reading. Her viewing will be Saturday 12-1pm in the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th fl. Norwalk, CT. 06851 in her memory.
