Betty was born in Reading on May 22, 1919; she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lucy (Wilkes) Bowman.
She was employed for 45 years as a buyer for Whitner's until she retired in 1981 and was a member of St. Andrew's UCC in
Reading.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Spies Zion Cemetery, Alsace Rd. for Betty.
