She was born in Reading on June 6, 1927, a daughter of the late Clarence F. and Daisy May (Englebach) Lacey.
While Betty had resided in California for 30 years, she was employed by Hughes Aircraft as an administrative secretary, working closely with Howard Hughes. She came back to Pennsylvania in the mid 90s.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at 11 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
