Bonnie Lee Mengel

Born in Reading on October 31, 1948, Bonnie was employed first with the Berkshire Knitting Mills, Letisse Hand Bags, Dauphin Knitting Mills and lastly, Lyon Knit Wear before becoming disabled.

She enjoyed connecting and playing games on FaceBook and she loved her late furry child, Prince.

Surviving are a brother, Donald S. Mengel and his wife, Elizabeth A. (Spaeth) of Wyomissing; three sisters, Barbara "Bobbie" A. (Mengel) Martzall and her husband, David P. of Adamstown, Debra "Debbie" L. (Mengel) Farnsworth and her husband, Glenn E. Of Ontelaunee Twp. and Linda K. (Mengel) Snyder and her husband, Barry L. of Reading; a nephew, Brian M. Snyder; seven nieces, Jennifer L. (Martzall) Schlegel, Michelle M. (Martzall) Adams, Christine L. (Farnsworth) Paige, Rachel A. (Snyder) Price, Amber M. Mengel, Ashley L. Mengel and Alexandra C. Mengel; two grand nephews, Jackson Schlegel and Logan Adams and three grandnieces, Alexis Schlegel, Caitlin Paige and Alivia Adams.

Services for Bonnie will be at 11am on Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. A visitation with family and friends will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 10 to 11am. Bonnie will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
