Brenda Lee Schlear

Brenda was born in Reading on July 3, 1956, a daughter of the late Paul Wesner and Meda Mae (Shue) Cobb. For a vast part of her life, she was a sewing machine operator with various industries. Brenda was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. While a member of Schubert Church, Brenda was a Jr Girls Association leader which participated in delivering food to the less fortunate. Most of all, Brenda was a woman of faith and valued time spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by her 3 children: Gereon T. Schlear, Jr and his wife Nicole Schlear, Mary Lee and her husband Merrill Lambert, Jr and Penny Ann and her husband Edward Loser one brother, Paul Wesner II, three sisters; Rose Miller, Barbara Turner and Susan Moyer, 10 grandchildren and one great grandson.

Brenda was predeceased by her brother, Charles Wesner.

A viewing will be Friday October 30, 2026, 11:30-1:30 PM with a service to begin at 1:30 PM. Burial to follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
