Carmen was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico on March 25, 1953. She was a daughter of the late Nicolas and Carmen Maldonado-Bonilla.
She is survived by four daughters: Gaimira, Jessica, Jeannette and Yarilyn Maldonado; six sons: Javier, Mayker, Willie, William, Juan, Johny Maldonado and 21 grandchildren.
Carmen will be privately viewed by family and close friends at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, Pennsylvania. She will be returning home to Puerto Rico for services with the assistance of Funeraria Rodriguez and burial in Cementerio Municipal de Villalba.
