Catharine May Dix 89, of Reading, passed away October 22, 2014 in Berks Heim. She was predeceased by her husband James B. Dix. She was born in Reading on November 19, 1924 a daughter of the late Charles and Catharine (Rogers) Miller.
She was employed by AT&T in the lab for 44 years retiring there. Catharine was treasurer of The Blind Association, and a member of VFW Post #38 Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by her son Rocky J. and his wife Sandra Dix of Reading, her daughter Sherry Lee Mull of New Ringgold, her 2 brothers; Brooke Miller of Lincoln Park and Joseph Miller of Boyertown. There are 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The joy of her life was her grandchildren who called her grandmom.
A graveside service will be Monday October 27, 2014 at 1pm in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Auman's Inc Funeral Home, Reiffton is in charge of her arrangements. www.aumansinc.com
