Charles enjoyed Boy Scouts growing up & became a counselor during summer camp. He made a career as a Foreman for most of his life, until his retirement. Charles enjoyed hiking & watching fireworks. He had an extensive collection of WWII memorabilia & enjoyed sharing his experiences, knowledge & selling his artifacts at his booth at Renningers Antique Market.
Charles proudly served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War; where he earned several medals including the Vietnam Campaign, Service & National Defense Medals. He was a patriot & a solider who developed a deep respect for honor, service & duty to his Country. His love for his country & military led him to hold a membership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Charles is survived by his brother Richard Jones; his 2 nieces Cindy Zaffary & her husband Steve, Loree Drobeck & her husband Greg & his great nephew Andrew.
A graveside committal with military honors at Laureldale Cemetery will be private & at the discretion of Charles's family.
