I met you at the recreation center when I was 14 years old; we fought in the ring: Bunk says you knocked me out, you know that's not true! However, from that day until the day you walked with me to join the Air Force, a Saturday hardly passed that we were not together. I'd look across the room and there you'd be, sleep with that suit jacket on! You are my daughter's god father; you brought her a dress for her first birthday, exactly 30 years to the day you were laid to rest, December 8. I have a locket with a picture of Angela wearing that dress. Remember Miles Jaye? "Let's Start Love Over" in 1987. One thing we didn't know about him was that he was for a time the lead singer of the Village People.  Then too, of course, there were times I'd be so mad at you, but my anger never lasted past the next day?. We didn't see each other much lately, but talked often; I thought of you, every day. I still dreamed of us living the high life after I retired!
But now, my brother: you have left this life's system and gone on to rest. Inside, I feel a part of me has gone with you, it has. Those times in the past are gone; the dreams of tomorrow with you in this life will not come to pass. Chucky, I love you man.

Deepest sympathy on your lost of Chucky.  He will be truly missed.  He was a brother to our family.  Like they said yesterday, we thought we were the only ones.  LOL

I remember Chucky through my cousin and his best friend Bell, I hate to see someone go so soon. He will be missed.

Dear Cousins, I have so many memories,but what I think of the most is when we used to play basketball at Essick Playground behind 606 n. 6th st. His jump shot was as sharp as a sniper. I always admired his layed back calming personality. He would do anything for you. We will miss him dearly. There goes another big piece of our hearts. I pray to God for strength for me and the rest of the family. May God take his soul to the place he has prepared for all of us.

I will always remember that outside jump shot, hence the name ''GUN'' and that infectious laugh, yes I have fond memories of chuckie he was a great guy and those of you who got the chance to meet and hang around him, you know you are blessed with great memories from an awesome Brother, Chuckie your home now without pain.
