

Christopher Calvert Quaintance, 48, of Florida, where he called home for the last 25 years, formerly of Exeter and Mt. Penn, enter-ed into rest on March 24, 2012, at The Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Chris was born in Reading on March 6, 1964, a son of Robert J. Quaintance and Carol N. (Knerr) Quain-tance, both of Reading.
Chris was a 1982 graduate of Mt. Penn High School. He attended Ogelthorpe University, GA, and graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University with a BS in accounting.
Chris was a manager for Walgreen's Pharmacy, bookkeeper for Florida International University, Sr. Staff Accountant for Mercy Miami Hospital, and was currently Sr. Staff Accountant for Pritikin Longevity Center.
Chris was of Christian faith.
He was an avid sports fan including the Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat. Chris enjoyed music, concerts, golfing and deep sea fishing. He was patriotic and a history enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his brother, Darren Quaintance of Morgantown; and his sister, Lori Hevalow of Muhl-enberg.
There are seven nieces and nephews; his aunt, Susan McMullan of Columbia; uncle, Peter C. Knerr of Mt. Penn; and aunt, Joan Weaver of Birdsboro; several great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and great cousins; his "other" family, Joseph and Kimberly Conway; and godchildren, Sean and Cain-an of Weston, Florida.
Chris was blessed with a multitude of close friends from Mt. Penn to Miami who will sadly miss him.
Services will be Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reiffton, PA 19606, with Pastor Mark Brophy officiating. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
