Clara Christine Kochel

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Stella Z. (Kwiatkowski) Kruszewski.

She was a 1956 graduate of Reading High School and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Reading. She was employed at the Reading High School commissary and last worked in the cafeteria of Riverside Elementary School.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Kochel and wife, Deborah of Sinking Spring, and David Kochel of Fleetwood. Also her sister, Geraldine, widow of Arthur Mentzer of West Lawn. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Ashleigh, Chelsea, Cody and Andrew; and two great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Parker. Also her nieces: Lynda, Laurel, Richelle and Doreen; and several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a niece, Carol.

Services will be held in Auman's, Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading, (Exeter Township), on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Friends and family may call from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Inurnment in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
