He was like the father I never had. Taught me so much throughout the last 6 years. Mainly how strong willed of a man he was. Yes, there were a lot of trips to the hospital, but with each and every step, we were there to take care of him along with Dorothy(Mom). I love you and I will see you again. Fly around with Babygirl now. Rest in paradise, POP'S!

I will forever remember my dad for all the good and bad things he taught me.To him I was his little angel. He taught me my first swear words, lol, how to fix things and how to stand up for myself and be tough. He loved with all his heart and could be stubborn as hell but no matter what I loved him with all my heart.my dad as well as my mom put up with all the neighborhood kids being at our house in Stony Creek and treated them all as family. My dad will be forever missed and forever in my heart.I love you dad.

For my entire life there was always a guy a few houses down from where I grew up. He always had a smile and a wave hello for anybody who was around. I’ll never forget his smile because it was always so warm, welcoming. He had a glint too his eyes which always made eye contact with you to make sure that YOU knew he was welcoming YOU and nobody else. To me it meant I had made it back to where I grew up where I was safe and where I belonged.

I never realized how important and special it was until I heard he had passed. I went my entire life taking his warmth thinking everybody had nice neighbors like that. I realize now I was just lucky I grew up around such a kind person who would always take a few seconds for anybody who showed up to make them feel welcomed and special.

I will try my best to be a good neighbor like he was to me and my family. I know I’ll never forget Danny. How he taught me through a life long example of how you should welcome those around you home. I’ll honor Danny by always taking a few seconds to wave and smile so they know they made it home safe and they are where they belong.

I remember going over to the every chance I got to either hang out or work my cars or just plain ole mess with him. He had a great sense of humor loved his grand kids. My son Christian was named Froggy by him and he had his hand print on the cement walkway that we had finished. He and Nan and Jenny made us feel like family. Thank you for the memories Pops we love and miss you already forever... Joe Desarden and Family...

I remember when I use to go to Dan’s House and whenever I would walked in he would say hey it’s Tiny (Us Tiny’s are usually in the 200-300 pound bracket lol )
So at that time I had lost some weight and I walked into the house he looked at me and said hey it’s ..........and he looked at dot and he looked at me and and said oh that’s so not fair dude lol
Dan was a kind man and he loved his family 200% and he was also very funny and can make you laugh no matter what type of mood your in
Rest Easy and fly high Dan
