Delcie May Clelland

Delcie was born in Brisbane, Australia on June 20, 1928, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Eleanor (Bruce) Standfast. Delcie was a member of First Baptist Church of Reading for 60 years where she held many vital roles. She helped the church supply bandages for overseas people and knit infant caps for our local hospitals. Delcie baked bread for her church fundraisers and was a volunteer at her churches soup kitchen for many years. She loved to sew and knit for her family and bake chocolate cookies and cheesecakes which were her specialities.

Surviving are her 2 sons: Bruce T. and his wife Carol Clelland and Thomas S. and his wife Deborah Clelland, 3 grandchildren: Heather, Paul and Jenelle and 5 great grandchildren: Tyler, Dillon, Eli, Ava and Preston. She was predeceased by her 2 sisters; Amy widow of Les Richards and Beryl widow of John Lucas.

A viewing for Delcie will be Monday July 27, 2026 from 10-11 AM in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 391 W Neversink Rd., Reading with a service to commence at 11AM. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
