Born into a generation that saw the world change in dramatic fashion, Dianne never lost sight of who she was or what was important to her. Family, education and the love of mankind were the center of her world. Gifted with extraordinary intelligence and a boundless spirit of generosity, she pursued her passions with fervor and tenacity.
A graduate of California State University, she earned her Master's and Doctorate in psychology from University of Pittsburgh; earning all her degrees after the age of 40.
As a woman business owner, she was very progressive for her time. Dianne was well regarded for her prestigious career as a Registered Nurse and as a clinical psychologist that spanned more than four decades. She was dedicated to the practice of psychology as her career and embodied the act of service to others, a value that she was so passionate about. Yet all who knew her well knew that her greatest joys in life were undoubtedly her family.
Dianne's greatest life achievement did not come with a plaque or an award, but rather was seen and felt in the genuine love she shared with her family, as well as the love and care she shared with her friends, colleagues, and those she served.
A woman of many creative interests and abilities, Dianne always had her nimble hands in a project. She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who possessed a deep devotion to her family and helping others. Dianne will fondly be remembered for her spitfire personality and for her kind, funny and giving spirit.
A beautiful woman with a heart too big to describe, a blessing to everyone she knew, and a light in this world that greatly needed it. She will be dearly missed by all blessed enough to have known her.
Dianne's spirit will be carried on by her daughter Leanne Johnson & her husband Todd, of Lebanon, PA; son Dave Watt & his wife Sheryl, of Ashville, PA & daughter Lynn Gregovich, of Myrtle Beach, SC.
