Dianne was a 1964 graduate of Reading High School. She attended Bryland Institute of Beauty Culture which launched her career as a hairdresser. She worked at various hair salons in Reading, including Wyomissing Hair Gallery and Wild about styles for over 40 years, retiring in 2012. Dianne took great pride in making sure her clients always looked their best.
Dianne adored the QVC shopping channel where she could not resist a sale. She loved QVC so much that she knew the UPS driver by his first name because he delivered packages almost every day to her home. She had a great sense of style and never had a hair out of place. Dianne was an avid WWE fan, loved spending time at the shore (especially Wildwood N.J), tanning, listening to the music of Prince and Elvis and was the Baltimore Raven’s #1 fan. She also enjoyed riding on Harley Davidson motorcycles with her husband and munching on her favorite snack, buttered popcorn.
In addition to her parents, her beloved miniature poodle, Midnight, greeted Dianne in heaven. Her spirit will be carried on by her husband of 54 years, Robert A. Hock; daughter Wendy L. Brunner, of Muhlenberg; granddaughter Amanda Brunner; grandson Shane Brunner and his fiancé Bryanna Hartranft.
