

Don was born in West Reading on April 21, 1934, a son of the late Robert L. and Ruth (Horst) Himmelberger. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Reading and was employed by Glen-Gery Brick as a kiln fireman for 26 years until closing and then FM Brown as an assistant mixer.
Surviving are his children; Kindall and his wife Kathy Wann of Sinking Spring, Wanda DiMaio of Sinking Spring, Craig Himmelberger of Avon Park, FL. and Allan D. and his wife Lori Himmelberger of Sinking Spring, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and sister, Mary Downy.
Donald was also predeceased by his daughter, Doreen Negri and siblings; Ruth Lewars, Carl Himmelberger, Paul Himmelberger and Richard Himmelberger.
Services will be Friday June 14, 2024 at 1pm in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd Reiffton, PA 19606. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
