Dorothy Lou (Jones) Travillion, 86, of Reading, joined her Lord and Savior Monday, November 30, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill East. Born May 19, 1934 in Reading, she was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Mamie (Duncan) Jones.
Dorothy was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1953. She worked in management at Burlington Coat Factory for 19 years, retiring in 1999.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who also possessed a deep devotion to her faith. She was faithful 65 year member of Zion Baptist Church, Reading.
In her spare time, Dorothy enjoyed playing BINGO and trips to the casino with her husband Carl to play the slot machines.
Dorothy's spirit will be carried on by her husband Carl Franklin Travillion, with whom they shared 64 years of marriage; 2 daughters Michele Morrison and her husband Edward, of Reading; Lynn Travillion-Reyes and her husband Troy, of Reading; and granddaughter Brianna Williams. Dorothy also leaves behind a
sister-in-law Rosa L. Travillion; 2 nieces Nikki Reichenbach and her husband Rikki; Denise Travillion and 2 nephews Tony Travillion and Ogal Gaines to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was greeted in heaven by her 2 sisters Mary Gaines and Lucille Jones.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading. Funeral services will be private and at the discretion of Dorothy's family.
