Dorothy C. Davies Wright

Dorothy C "Davies" Wright 84 of Reading passed away May 5, 2015 in St Joseph Hospital. Her husband Marcel C Wright passed away on November 16, 2013. She was born in Reading on January 4, 1931 a daughter of the late Otis Fleming and Reba (Harper) Booth.

Dorothy attended Reading High School, and was a graduate of Mc Cann's Business School in Reading. She was employed by Berks County Office of Public Assistance as an office worker for 12 years and BCIU as an intake specialist for 30 years retiring in 1996. Dorothy was a past member of Zion Baptist and Union Baptist Churches.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Dr.Gregory Bolton, MD., of Plymouth Meeting, Daren Bolton of Reading, Kelly Bolton of York, PA., her 2 daughters, Terri Cannon of Reading, Aaisha "Wanda" Gulshan of Mohnton, 18 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren. Her brothers Alvin Booth of Reading, Roger Booth of York, Donald Williams of Philadelphia, and her sister, Delores Banks of Reading. Her chosen sons David Davies, Frank D McCracken and Dr. Joseph Abrams DDS; chosen daughters Courtney Nieves and Dietra E Spencer, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her twin sister Doris Williams; her siblings, Roy Williams, Lloyd Williams, William "June" Williams,, Virginia Figueras, and Rosemarie Gaskins and her granddaughter, Yejide Bolton.
